Leopard Bush Fish

Overview

The leopard bush fish is a tropical semi-aggressive cichlid. They love planted tanks for areas to hide. They are rather calm and stick to themselves, they are not aggressive to fish the same size of them. If there are fish in your tank that fit in its mouth it might eat them. They also should be kept solo or in larger groups.

Tank size

Leopard Bush fish require 55 gallon tank or larger for hiding places and territory.

Size and growth

Leopard Bush fish grow to a max of 6 inches, they grow very slowly and won’t always grow to 6 inches.

Group size

Leopard Bush fish like to be solo, but if they are in a larger tank they gain the option of large groups of 4 or more.

Temperature and ph

Leopard Bush fish are tropical fish and should be kept at temperature ranging between 73 - 82 F. Ph should be between 5.5 - 7.5.

Aggression
